DIY clothespin picture hanger

I'm pretty excited near this clothespin picture hanger! It fits all of my DIY must haves: the supplies are cheap, the instructions are easy, and the project turns out simply as cool in real life as I'd imagined in my head. I put together this easy DIY photograph brandish in nether thirty minutes using foursquare wood dowels, twine, and mini clothespins. I dear how it turned out!

I mounted the photo display on the wall using Command Picture show Strips (best invention always!) making that office pretty darn simple as well.

How to brand a Clothespin Picture show Hanger

And here are the instructions for making this piece of cake DIY photograph brandish:

Supplies:

Clothespin photo display supplies: square dowels, drill, twine, clothespins, pictures

  • two 1-inch square dowels, cut to 26 inches long (you should be able to observe these are whatsoever hardware or home improvement shop)
  • twine
  • drill with bit that is slightly larger than your twine
  • mini clothespins
  • hot glue or superglue (optional)

Marking and drilling holes in the dowels, and threading twine through holes

one – Sand dowels if needed before you brainstorm. Mensurate and mark i inch down from the top of each dowel. And then measure and mark in half-dozen inch increments. Yous'll end up with 5 marks spaced half dozen inches apart on each dowel. 2 – Drill holes through the dowels at each marking. 3 – Cut five 1-yard lengths of twine. Thread one piece of twine through each pigsty on the start dowel and necktie a knot.

4 – Lay both dowels out on a flat surface. Thread the other end of each slice of twine through the holes on the second dowel, similar y'all encounter in a higher place. Knot the twine on the outside of the second dowel, ensuring that each piece of twine is the same length. My photo display is near 30 inches wide (measured from the outside of each dowel).

To stop: Trim off any excess twine. Add some glue between the knots and the dowels if desired.

Every bit I mentioned, I hung this display on the wall using Command Picture Strips (affiliate link), which was a hundred times easier than trying to employ hardware. I used 2 of the medium strips on each dowel (4 total).
